I'm a big kid now

Now that I am a big kid, Jacob has taught me some new things. I now have two teeth and another two have broken through on top, so Jacob said this is the perfect time to start biting...anything and everything...including Mom. I have even started eating crackers, cookies and bread. I love it!
Another activity Jacob has turned me on to is arching, squirming, and turning over so that it is almost impossible for Mommy and Daddy to change my diaper. This is a hoot! You should see them try to change me when I'm in full squirmy mode. And speaking of squirming, I have also started squirming and arching to get out of the bumbo when Mommy is feeding me. She finally wised up and decided to try sitting me in the booster seat. It works great, and I even get to play with toys on the tray during meal.
I think it is kind of making Mommy sad that Jacob and I are getting so big. Jacob was eating at the table without a booster seat and drinking out of a regular cup, and I thought Mom was going to lose it!
Mommy, Daddy, Jacob and I played outside the other day and I learned to play ball. Jacob showed me how to play baseball and to put gas in the car with the watering can. We played a cool game with Mommy called 'Where's the boys?'. It made us laugh so hard! I played with Jack over at Mimi and Papa's house last week too. He is so much fun and is teaching me new things too! Like how much fun it is to play with plastic lids and bowls. We had a blast! And we even got to play together in the water.
Here are some pictures and some videos of me and my friends. Later alligators! -Noah

This week in the life of the Warmack brothers...

A few things that made Mommy and Daddy laugh this week:

Jacob (at about 10:00 PM): "Mommy would you play with me?"
Mommy: "No honey, I'm tired and it is late and time for us all to go to bed."
Jacob: "But lets just pretend to play!"

Jacob, just as we sat down to eat our sandwiches for lunch: "Mommy, I'm making a sandwich with my diaper."
Mommy, thinking she knew the answer: "What does that mean?"
Jacob: "It means poop."

Jacob, after Mommy caught him poking Noah in the face a few times: "Sorry Noah, but I just can't stop."

Jacob while running around the house playing Fireman Sam, "It's almost fire o'clock! Hurry, we have to put that fire out!"

This week Noah and I got to go to an Arkansas Travelers baseball game. Daddy bought me popcorn, cracker Jacks, and Dr. Pepper. A nice guy even gave me the foul ball that he caught! I wore my batter batter baseball cap to the game, and when we got home, and the next day, and the next day. I pretty much didn't want to take it off. Here is a picture of me as the caped "Super Batter Batter Baseball Player Traveler".

Mommy made Noah and I pose for pictures again this week. She does this now and again, and it drives us crazy. All we want to do is play and she makes us sit still and say cheese over and over. But it makes her so happy, and it did turn out pretty cute, didn't it?

I have to go now. Gotta play!

Cowboy and Curly

I gotta tell you, you wouldn't believe how much more fun everything is when you are sitting up! I have gotten to play with all these cool new toys this week. We spent a whole day just playing, playing, playing. Jacob and I had a blast. But I think Mom had even more fun. She is so proud that I have more hair now too. She was excited that she actually got to brush it after my bath. She's kind of crazy. She got got a little carried away imagining what my hair will look like and she tried this curly wig on me. I think it is a pretty good look for me. I loved it so much I cried every time she took it away from me. Here are some pictures and some video of Jacob and I hamming it up for Mom.

Hello Tambourines!

I went to my friend, Grant's birthday party today at the zoo. It was awesome. We sang Happy Birthday, watched him blow out his candles, ate pizza and birthday cake, and watched him open presents. He got some really cool toys! We even got to feed the fish and ride the train. Mom said her favorite part was getting to spend time alone with me walking around the zoo. We saw tigers, elephants, rhinos, jaguars and tambourines. Yes, I said tambourines. Yes, that's what I said, tambourines! Mom didn't know that is what they were called either! Anyway here is some video from our fun day.

Batman, Sirens and Sitting up

We had a visitor for breakfast this morning. Batman LOVES some Honey Nut Cheerios! And he is extremely messy.
I have discovered a new favorite cartoon. I am fascinated with Fireman Sam! I love the sound of his firetruck siren. I asked mom to make the sound and she said "Whoo - whoo - whoo". I quickly corrected her, "No, its 'neener - neener- neener". Gotta get the sound effects right! And I am all about sound effects.
Noah started something new. He is officially sitting up as of today! It is a whole new world for him being able to play with his toys while sitting up. I have had fun with him too. And Mom let me take some pictures of him. He even sat in a high chair at the restaurant today. He thinks he's a real hot shot now! I'm proud of him too!

Gotta get to bed now.

What's new

I, Noah, am cracking up at mom and dad. I had them so fooled into thinking I was the easiest baby on earth (which didn't actually take too much effort thanks to my big bro). And I realized that they started getting a little cocky, like they had finally figured out this parenting thing and were soooo on top of things! So now, just to throw them off, I've started some new tricks. I wake several times in the night threatening to wake Jacob with my fussing. I require being held most of the time...especially when I'm napping. And my newest trick (this is my favorite) is this spitting action while Mom is trying to feed me. It works best with peas and sweet potatoes. -Makes a huge mess...very cool. I haven't quite gotten the reaction I expected though...Mom just laughs. I wonder how long it is going to take her to get wise and undress me before meals. She does seem to love doing laundry. Anyway, I've got some more stuff in the works that is gonna blow their minds! And the trick is, I just keep getting cuter and cuter so they can't get too upset with me! I'm genius, I know.

This past weekend Mom left Jacob and I with our Superman of a Dad. It was awesome. I slept all night. I even slept in until 10:30 one morning. We napped and behaved like little angels. Funny that Mom thinks we can't survive without her. She came home to a clean house, well rested kids and big smiles. Daddy did leave us in wet diapers and let her think she was the first to discover my new tooth. -Just to make her feel needed!

Rock and Roll!

Okay, so I (Jacob blogging) am a rocker. I do performances frequently at home for Mommy, Daddy and Noah. They love it. I always get great applause. So I must be awesome. I play the guitar just like Uncle Steve and Uncle Allan. I think I should have a jam session with them one of these days. Maybe the Boswell's will let me play with them at one of their gigs soon, now that I have this video out. The only problem I have is when I am jumping around and my guitar falls off. It makes me really sad. I don't know why my mom always laughs.

Mom and Dad let us go outside this evening for the first time in I don't know how long. I was cooking baby food for Noah. What flavor, you ask? Bug spray flavor! Mom said that sounds delicious!

I got in trouble tonight for digging in the trash can. Mommy said it was dirty and yucky and dangerous. "But it's so interesting!" , I explained. She tried not to laugh, but I caught her.

First Blog

Well, I have given in. I used to call it a waste of time (admit it, you all did too) but I have been inspired by some friends blogs. I have decided it will be okay (and very motherly of me) to start a blog to share the adventures of Jacob and Noah with our family and friends. I really have no idea what a blog should be, but my intention is to do my best to keep up with all of the funny and exciting things these guys come up with each week, and post the stories, pictures and video.
