Cool Trick and Big Kid

Well, Mom and Dad were so worried about Jacob starting school that I thought I'd do a little something to lighten the mood around the house. So I showed off my new cool trick. My name is Noah and my cool trick is peeing in the dishwasher with my diaper on! Betcha can't match that! I was being my usual "helpful" self while Mom was emptying the dishwasher when she looked down to see my "wee-wee" sticking straight up out of my diaper. As she caught her breath and asked me to go show Daddy, I looked down and, well, just decided to pee...into the dishwasher. I thought Mom would love it...I mean, she was so excited when I peed in the potty. Apparently it is not quite the same. I couldn't tell if Mom and Dad were laughing or crying. Well, it did get their minds off of the dreaded first day of school anyway.

So today was Jacob's first day of preschool. You would have thought Mom was sending him off to college already! She too many pictures, packed too much lunch, talked WAY too much about it, and cried too much. Jacob was so excited...he couldn't wait to play with all of the cool toys Miss Beth had in the classroom. Like I said, Mommy went a little nuts taking pictures. She did let me join in too with my own back pack and everything, so that was pretty cool.

The morning went off without a hitch. Although he did pull the old "My stomach hurts...I don't know if I will be able to go to school today." Mom was not in the market for that, (I'll have to remember to be more creative when it is my turn) so then he decided he couldn't wait to leave the house. I'm not sure if Mom was happy or sad that Jacob was excited stay at school without her. I think she said she was happy, but I could hardly understand her through her blubbering.

Mom and I played basketball and "Daddy" and tickle fight and had a great time. I tried my best to keep her busy and her worries away. Then we picked up Jacob who was grinning from ear to ear and said that he had a lot of fun! Phew! What a milestone! We are all so excited for him bla, bla, bla...

Rounding out the summer...

We are rounding out the summer right...ice cream cones nearly every night! Yay! Mom thinks I need a haircut before I start school this week. What do you think? I hope Mom can get it together before I start school...here she accidentally got Noah and my outfits mixed up. Okay for Noah, but really quite uncomfortable for me!
