Back to October

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Again, I am a super busy little boy with little time for anything but playing. Anyway, I will need to back track a little to cover our kickin' October.

I was looking really forward to Halloween, not just because it is my birthday, but because I had the awesomest costume ever! I think I told you all about that before. Well, the festivities began with the church carnival, which I went to with the "Man with the Yellow Hat" and Curious George (aka my buddies, Grant and Mason Greathouse). Then I did trunk or treat at Papa John and Mimi's church. I scored lots of loot and got to interview the republican presidential candidates, so it was a pretty productive evening. Then I had Grant and Trevor's annual Halloween party. You would not believe who all was there...Iron Man and a race car driver, among many other very famous and important super heroes. It was so cool! I would not eat anything or jump in the bounce houses no matter how many times Mom asked me to. I was simply too busy trying to get Iron Man and the race car driver to play with me! Mom told me that maybe I should ask their names. Duh! I've been chasing them around yelling their names all night, "Hey Iron Man" and "Yo Race Car Driver"! Anyway, next was the big day...my big day...the day of the fireman!!! I awoke to a ridiculously excited mother wanting me to blow my (first set of) candles out on my birthday cake breakfast. Yes, that's right folks...my Mom lets me have cake for breakfast! Do I have it made or what? Then I got some new clothes and pajamas from Mimi and Papa (fire fighter themed, of course). And then I got my gift from Mom, Dad, Papa and Mimi...my very own firehouse! It even has a pole and fire alarm! Wow, I know! I played and played until it was time to get ready for the real deal...trick-or-treating with Bailey! This is serious stuff in Sheridan so I had to really get into character with my costume...not a problem for me. At Papa Tom and Nana's house, Nana fixed me a birthday supper! We had cake, sang the happy birthday song, and I opened my presents. Aunt Shirley even came over to visit! Then I hit the pavement with the my fire dog Sparkles, Minnie Mouse, the Diva, the Eskimo, and the girl with cherries on her dress (not sure about that one). We loaded up on some major Halloween candy! There were kids and monsters and superheroes everywhere! Then we went to a church carnival where we played lots of games for even more candy! Needless to say, at the end of the week I was pooped! But Mom wasn't satisfied with how much she had worn me, Noah and Dad out. Saturday was my birthday party with my friends. I had been so excited about playing fireman with all of my friends the whole week! But after opening my gifts, the fireman stuff kind of got pushed to the side for the harmonica. That's right! Uncle Allan and Aunt Libra got me a harmonica! Mommy is so happy too! Anyway, I had the best birthday party ever! Firetruck cake and all. Oh and during all of this activity, I also turned 3! So I'm sure you can understand how tired I am now! I asked mom for several days after if I am still 3. Apparently you stay your new number for a while.

Mom is really tired of typing and says we need some sleep so I'm gonna have to blog the rest of our October later. But this pretty much sums it up.

Oh...and Noah was there for all of this too.
