Easter fun!

Well, our Easter festivities started out with our totally awesome, manly egg decorating. Papa John set up an egg decorating "shop" in the garage so that we could decorate the coolest eggs in the manliest style! Max, Austin, Noah and I made sports and Star Wars eggs to our hearts content...and then we ate them...YUM! Then Mom and Mimi helped us make chocolate dipped rice crispie treat eggs and carrots. We smushed and dipped and smushed and dipped to our hearts content...and then we ate them...YUM!
Then we spent a day at Nana and Papa Tom's house. I showed them how awesome I have become at baseball, and Noah played outside in the dirt...of course! Mom made us sit way too long on the bench to take this adorable picture. Okay, I admit, it was worth it! We look great!
Then came the big day...Easter Sunday!!! We woke up to find our Easter baskets full of all kinds of candy and fun that the Easter bunny left for us! I got a Star Wars book and underwear, and Buzz Lightyear socks. And Noah got his favorite thing...balls, of course! Then Mom made us hunt for our breakfast...wierd, I know. Apparently the Easter bunny likes to hide eggs so you have to hunt for your breakfast on Easter morning...when you are in a HUGE hurry to play with all of your new loot AND get ready for church, which you have to look EXTRA cute for and cannot be late for...because it is Easter Sunday...the most important dress up Sunday to Mom!!! Does anyone else think this is kind of a bad idea?! I'm just sayin'!

Anyway, we made it to church with Mimi and Papa John. Then we played and played the afternoon away. It may look like we were up to no good...I assure you, we were behaving ourselves, not jumping on the bed or emptying the wipes and throwing them all over the room!!! We posed for the yearly Easter family picture (you're welcome, Mom!) and then it was all over...except eating candy for nearly 4 weeks after...the Easter bunny went a little overboard with that! YUM!!!
